In Saulxures and Pulnoy near Nancy, France, public parks were equipped in order to store up to 13,000 and 4,000m3 of rainwater respectively. In both basins, when the rainfall event exceeds a critical threshold, the basin stores excess water, and finally discharges the water at an acceptable flow rate for the downstream wastewater treatment plant.Comments
