Το πρώτο Ολοκληρωμένο Σχέδιο Αποχέτευσης Ομβρίων Υδάτων (Storm-Water, Drainage Master Plan - ΟΣΑΟΥ) ετοιμάστηκε από το ΣΑΛΑ το 1992. Το 2003 επικαιροποιήθηκε. Μέχρι σήμερα υλοποιήθηκε το 60% περίπου.
