Ξαφνική σφοδρή νεροποντή το μεσημέρι και αργά το απόγευμα. Πλημμύρισαν κατοικίες, εργοστάσια και δρόμοι στις περιοχές Μακεδονίτισσας, Αγίου Παύλου, Αγίου Δομετίου και Έγκωμης. Στη γέφυρα του Πεδιαίου πίσω από το ξενοδοχείο Φόρουμ ακινητοποιήθηκαν αυτοκίνητα.
