Οι καταρρακτώδεις βροχές φούσκωσαν το ποτάμι που περνάει κάτω από την ιστορική γέφυρα του Μύρτου, με τους κατοίκους να λένε πως κινδυνεύει να γκρεμιστεί, ένα μνημείο 130 χρόνων της νεότερης πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς της Κρήτης.
